The most beautiful song I've ever heard (Part 2)

Okay, maybe i'm a little bit obessed about the song, "The Gift of Life." I'll admit, sometimes when I have too many things on my mind or if i'm having writer's block, I need something to relax the senses. This way, I can think clearly and not have to be frustrated when i'm writing character dialogue. Okay, when I mentioned about Yanni's music being comprised of different emotions, it also has ways of telling different stories. What's good about that also is it leaves the listener to interpret their own story. Here's my take on what the song is about.

I see a journey of a young child, riding a bicycle into the unknown depths of his/her life. He/she is confused on which paths are the right ones, and calls for help into the serene sky above. With this call for help, a voice descends as it reaches the ears of the child, almost following alongside and guiding his eyes on the proper path. The setting can go from being a mountain road, to a forest, maybe the child is dreaming and making things up as he/she goes along. I say the journey reaches a certain point where the child has to stop and take a look at the horizon, just as the sun rises above the clouds. Right then, it is to decide whether the child should stay behind or keep moving forward.

Now, I don't have the gist of what I'm saying, but it's a general insight into what I think in what the song is about. Anyway, the very last word Leslie sings before the music fades the child spreads his/her wings and flies off into the sun, into a future of new hope.
